At the invitation of the Office of Public Works Senior Conservation Architect John Cahill, Cbs.ltd were invited to undertake works at Emo Court in county Laoise. The 18thC. Mansion House was the only house to have been designed by the Architect James Gandon, now considered to have been one of the finest Architects to have worked in ireland during the 18th and 19thC. Gandon is better known for Dublin's Customs House and Four Courts buildings.
Cbs.ltd undertook the following works:
* Conservation and repair of 19thC cast sculpture
* Repair to timber roof structure and new lead roof to the rear portico
* consolidate and patch repair lath and plaster ceiling of rear portico
