Some ten years ago, Ian Storey of Cbs and Jonny Anderson of Bourne Masonry teamed up to form Rockworx, a collective of sculptors, stone masons, carvers, and.........DJ's!
Rockworx is a unique workshop-based project for people of all ages and from all backgrounds and combines the percussive craft of stone carving with an eclectic blend of rythmns and beats in a workshop environment. Using music to drive the mood, the Rockworx project aims to inspire through craft and raise an awareness of the skills employed to build and now conserve our rich historic built environment.
You can find Rockworx in the Green Crafts Field at the Glastonbury Festival.
